www.packetnews.com (http://www.packetnews.com)

this site is for those that do not like to pay for software.. movies, full music albums, etc.. all u need is mIRC.. and away you go.. its pretty easy to figure out, just type in what your looking for.. ie "Adobe Photoshop" and you get results, and you download.. its good :)

Old site.

On related note, the warez irc scene is growing lamer every year. It won't be long before ISOs will cease to exist all together.

you need an irc client, not mirc.

Gotta admit the Mardam-Bey client is more popular than ever before. I very seldom see people using polaris and the such. Nevertheless, a good list could be obtained here:

http://www.ircreviews.org/clients/

edit: come to think of it, polaris wasn't even a version per se as a finished scrip applied to old mirc versions.

true enough.. but its reliable, i mean i usually download right before going to bed, so its done in the morning, kazaa lite has too much bullshit on it that isnt what it says it is.. limewires no faster than IRC.. and ive never heard of bit torrent.. oh well.. to each's own i guess..

how could you not have heard of bittorrent? it accounts for more than one third of ALL internet traffic now.

packetnews.com, ircspy.com and xdccspy.com are the oldies and still the better ones I guess. Could be that it changed since I don't use irc that much anymore.
