That sentiment is so ass-backwards that I don't even feel like taking the time to comment on it.

Today's soliders fight to uphold democracy in other countries too. They know what they're getting in for when they sign up. Since Korea we've (you've) been fighting other people's wars.

I respect those who give their lives for the country and more so to those who fight to liberate others.

Also 1565 where have you been? I've missed you.

We should have another judicial legislation debate, that would rock my world.

Again, never ask why I dislike you again. It should be clear by now. Your idiocy is beyond comparison.

i hate my countries government, but that by no means makes me happy to see american soldiers die, especially just to prove that bush is any idiot or anything like that. i, and many others, already know he is. the killing of many young men and/or women hardly does that any good. id rather him be proven right and somehow turn out to be a good leader if it means less people killed (but it doesnt obviously :p, and he isnt)

Everyone posting about "stupid Americans shouldn't have joined the army," etc. have completely missed the point. 1,565. 1565. It's all about me.

RXP--Do let's sometime soon. I've been around, just haven't been posting lately.

Wow what outstanding logic from the physics geek.

You can support something without putting your heart, soul and body on the line.

i was talking about the soldiers. if they want to fight to liberate iraq, why are they in the us army? since when is it the us army's job to liberate other countries?

That was the point of my first post. We've known since Korea we fight other peoples wars. If you join the army you know that.

In some countries armies really do exist just for the defence.

A terrible thing. All the Iraqi deaths, are the deaths of victims who had no choice. Yet the exact SAME thing can be said of the lower class American teens who joined the military for educational opportunities. Fuck the US government and the power's that be, for this blatant abuse of the trust the American people put in their government.

Sgt. Baker is my name,
I'm gonna teach you how to play the game of warfare.
Suddenly it appears to me, you got a bit much dignity,
For your own good, boy. Yes sir, yes sir...
I will rape your personality.
Pummel you with my own philosophy.
Strip you of your self-integrity.
To make you all a bit like me.
I said right... left..
