Yeah, I went to Summer Sanitarium. I went to the one at Giants Stadium. I sat all the way up on the top of the stadium. They sold no beer, which sucked. But, I think the show was alright. deftones sucked, though. Fuckin Chino screams too much, so it's hard to understand him.

Who were they opening for when you saw them? I can't identify any of the bands they might have toured with on your list. I'd find it incredibly hard to believe that you went to see THEM because you actually LIKE them.

-Rolling Stones (2 times)
-Brainstorm (they were support of Rolling Stones)
-Metallica
-Slipknot (I didn´t want to see them, they were support band of Metallica. But some songs are good.)

and some bands that you certainly don´t know

-Sedika (HC from Czech Republic, good)
-R.A.F. (punk rock from Czech Republic, good)

-Insania (HC punk from Czech Republic, great)
-Bessar Ungass (ska punk from Czech Republic, very bad)
-Like Fool (Trash metal from Czech Republic, they are from our town, great)
-Ecrasith (they are also from our town and they play released songs, for example Iron Maiden, Metallica, System of a Down, Creed... Great)
-Jarmark (in my opinion they play pop rock. They are from Czech Republic, bad)
-Paradox (hard rock from Czech Republic. They are from our town, good)
-Semetrika (rock from Czech Republic, not good but not bad. Medium)
-Elbereth (metal from Czech Republic, not good)
-D.M.C. (death metal from Czech Republic, bad)
-The Manthas (death metal from Czech Republic. They are skinheads and I hate skinheads!!! They are very bad!!!)
-Depression (death metal. Members are from Czech Republic and Austria. Not good)
-Olympic (rock´n´roll legend from Czech Republic. They were support of Rolling Stones, good)

I saw almost all of these bands on the fests, so I wrote my opinion on them. It´s a pity I haven´t seen "The Offspring". If they have a concert in Czech Republic, I will go!!! But it´s a pity that Ron Welty is not in the band. :(

ive only been to two concerts before. my first one was metallica and godsmack opened up for them. then godsmack played an acoustic show in a little theatre in my hometown(this is crazy cuz our towns like nothing) and that show was awesome too. im plannin on seein audioslave, velvet revolver, RHCP, and U2

Red Hot Chili Peppers
The Offspring
Cradle of Filth
Bleeding Through
Himsa
Arch Enemy

And I am going to see Bleeding Through again at the Soma New Year's Eve Formal. I didn't plan on it, but they are just there.

It's an awsome show (10 bands 6+ hours 19 bucks)

And since Motley Crue got back together, I'm gonna see them in March.
But that is a later show, so those last 2 statements were off topic. Oh well.

I just saw the Transiberian Orchestra last night, and It was awesome. it's like Metal Christmas carols, and Beethoven on steroids. It's not every day you see a Hard rock orchestra (they had three guitarest, and bassist, a huge drum set, 2 keyboards, a small string section, and an electric violin that looked like a small guitar. Damn. You should check them out

Nope. So you don't listen to Green Day because they sell out?
What is the big deal? I just listen to it because I happen to like it. I don't listen to them because of they sell out. If that was the fact, than I wouldn't listen to bands like Good Clean Fun, Uppercut, Suicidal Tendencies and whatever more there is to mention.
And so you listen to other bands, just because they don't sell out then?

I don't even know what sellouts mean and I don't care. If the music's good shit on anything else. All that count is the music and not who is making it for what reason

This really should be spun off into another thread, but a sell-out is someone who compromises sound, image, and/or morals for the Almighty Dollar (or Euros).

i was just joking, i only know Suicidal Tendencies (and i really like em). i don't even know the other two bands ;)

but hey, are you going to Graspop? I really want to see Suicidal Tendencies too but i'm not going to Belgium and pay too much money to see one band... think i'm just going to stick to the Rock In Park Festival (Nijmegen)

No it's not that. ;) I like three songs of green day but I kinda dislike their music. Like you buy an album of them and because every songs seems to sound the same you kinda listen to one song and then stop the cd. Can't help it but they could do better. And it's not hard work to make non songs on the album sound the same as the other.

But I can listen to sell-out bands like coldplay, evanescence, liquido, metallica, no doubt, etc. so it's not that as long as the band is good I don't mind the fact that they like the green collor of money.

BuddyHolly

The Cute Lepers (album release show at the Knitting Factory)
Enrique Bunbury (my dad's favorite musician. I was 13, so I don't really remember much about it, or understood any of it, except that it was at the HOB in Anaheim.)

All time would be too big and take too long. This year alone I've seen The Nightwatchman, Hilltop Hoods, Rage Against the Machine, Kanye West (of sorts), Infectious Grooves, The Offspring, Madball, Sick of It All and Dropkick Murphys. Still to come I've got Kanye West again, and early next year Inner Circle, Ziggy Marley and possibly Public Enemy and Atmosphere.

well this is kinda embarrasing....

But my first live band was a three gig show at a small venue, intone, southdown and some other band were playing, pretty good considering they were a christian band, actually great exprence because they threw drum sticks out to the crowd and i caught one, all my mates were trying to steal it but yeah. but i would have to say the best part of that night was meeting them and playing the lead guitarists fender strat. great night.

edit: yeah i remember intone's lead singer (and bassist) got up onto one of the blocks and fell of , but he got straight back up lol

So, because I'm all hardcore n stuff, my first concert was the pussycat dolls and black eyed peas.

After that;;Peachcake&&Cute is what We Aim For&&Hellogoodbye

Third;;The Vandals&&Reeve Oliver

Last one;;The best one I've ever been to with Jimmy Eat World, Pennywise, MGMT, Ludo, and The Offspring

The first two I was dragged to by one of my friends.

Well...humm I might have already answered this, but I'll do it again, do indie bands count? Apart from Serj, most of the other ones suck, it's like the only concerts that are easy to get to our reggae or rap concerts (and only indie ones) and for the good rock concerts we gotta go far to see them, and so it's not very easy to get to. I envy all of ya who have been able to go to so many concerts!

Serj Tankian
Placebo
Asian dub foundation
Diams
84 carats (crappy rap band from around where I live)
The Wailers (without Bob Marley, but with one of his sons)
The Gladiators
Culture
Mix up
Radikal Raid

And hopefully next time Aerosmith go to Paris, I might go with a friend who just went last year and loved it, so I wanna go too!!!

I've seen the Sex Pistols, Billy Idol, Joan Jett, The Germs, and the Dead Kennedys, (Albiet with new lead singers.) Social Distortion, X , the Subhumans, Anti-Flag, Tiger Army, Dropkick Murphys, Rancid (For about two songs, sadly.), Morrissey, Henry Rollins, Reel Big Fish, Less than Jake... I'm probably forgetting a few. I've also seen a lot of smaller punk/ska/hardcore bands including Hag, Kicked in the Head, RU486, the Casualties, A Global Threat, Pinkerton Thugs, Showcase Showdown, Toxic Narcotic, the Unseen ('Cause they live near me.) Anti-Flag, Reverend Horton Heat, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and a ton of others I can't think of right now. Sadly I have yet to see the Offspring.
