View Full Version : Do I need to ask to use Offspring song as entrance?

I might actually start pro wrestling in the independent ranks, in this charity show I'm working on, and I was wondering if I had to ask the band's permission to use one of there songs as an entrance. I've heard about WWE stars being sued for copyright infringement. I don't want to risk that.

nah, offspring already gave permission for people to do that sort of thing with their songs.

I love watching amateur wrestling, because it looks like they're humping eachother! :D

I was thinking about using "The Noose", but Pretty Fly for a White Guy was always an option.

It doesn't matter, you're going to destroy your body for less money than you'd get working at McDonald's. Use "Taps" instead.

Wrestling is a soap opera for men and a wet t-shirt contest for women.

American Dragon (Bryan Danielson) used "Self Esteem" as his entrace theme for awhile in ROH, so don't use that one. It's taken.

First of all, I'm about to start wrestling, so I haven't been "thrased" yet. Secondly, I might you "can't get my head around you" from splinter. I have a friend that suggested using Race against Myself.

I've got other songs, Polyamorous by Breaking Benjamin. Not Listening by Papa Roach. And Re-Align by Godsmack.

...Maybe you should just skip the entrance music. Andre the Giant didn't need it.

During that time though, a lot of wrestlers didn't have entrance songs, Hulk Hogan was the first with "Eye of the Tiger"
