View Full Version : A New Threat In Schools

Well, I don't know if this was a national or local broadcast, or if it is on the internet somewhere, but I swear I saw this on T.V.

Have you seen the rectangular lunch tables with seats attatched on each side, and they fould up in the middle so they can be wheeled away and stored easily? When folded up, these tables are probably atleast six feet tall. In one school, a FOUR YEAR OLD was pushing one of these when it fell on and killed him. Many people now believe that the tables are dangerous, and new lunch table designs should be implemented. The broadcast also showed that one of the tables at that height falling could even break a bike helmet, and that's how dangerous they are.

It was at that point I felt the need to get up and just walk away.

My school has them, and sometimes they never stay down. We always have someone sit in the middle, while the rest of us are at one side.

Do you really think it's necessary to go through every school and change the tables just because some teacher made an incomptent four yearold push a table three times as tall as him?

The stupid little bastard probably deserved it, I bet he was told not to touch them.

We have those tables at our school, and I know there's been several incidents of finger-trapping and the such likes...we have to put them out after our drama lesson, and you usually have to run backwards when it gets pushed down, to avoid getting any body part crushed =P

I broke a sub-standard doorway in my RS class once. And the best bit? My friend got blamed!:p

We have those tables at my school and I think that at my elementery school it was also that kind of tables. Fortunately, I don't think any accidents ever happened.

When i was 4 years old I never would have even gone near a giant fucking table that was folded up and standing on end, much less pushed it until it fell over.

The world is no poorer without the little bastard.

Damn, 1565, you look like a female Anakin Skywalker recently turned Sith lord who's on a murderous rage against the Jedi.
