  1. I’m really into anything British from about 1500-present day, with focus on Cromwell/ Civil War, plus Napoleonic era and 19th century political history, so I guess I’m kind of all over the board on this one. Although I’m getting a lot more interested in 20th century Europe, probably because I read too much Niall Ferguson.
  2. I do! Ancient Roman/Greek, World War II, and the 1960's in America. You?
  3. Rock Bottom has been growing on me like crazy too, the same with Takes Me Nowhere. I was in a car for about 5 hours worth of total travel time today going to see my cousin graduation from university, which fortunately gave me plenty of time to listen to RAFRAG, and yeah, I’m like you, there isn’t a single song that I can even think about skipping, it also gave me time to really appreciate tracks like Rock Bottom and Fix You, since when I first started to listen to RAFRAG I was too distracted by the sheer awesomeness of Half-Truism/Kid, ect. I’m still in awe over how good this album is. And yeah, haha the age question was a little strange, but whatever. Oh, I think you mentioned (I could be wrong) that you were a history student, you have a specific area of interest?
  4. So I've slowly been falling in love with Let's Hear it For Rock Bottom...the guitar riff at the end (2:25) keeps getting stuck in my head. Sounds like something Tom during Blink would play. I hate comparing it to them, but it sounds like it to me! I went and worked out today and listened to the entire album. I can't believe I can't skip any songs! So I've been laughing because people have thought you were a lot younger and then they see pictures of Ryder and think he was older. Makes me chuckle...
  5. I'm gonna have to say Kid followed closely by Trust in You. It's hard because I actually like all the songs on this album. To me...this is there best album. It's hard for me to say that because I've loved all their older stuff, but I always skip songs on the other albums. I don't on this one.
  6. Man, don’t even get me started on the “tru punx”, they’re just stuck in 1994. I’m having a hard time picking one actually, the vocals on Half-Truism really seem to blow my mind every time I hear the song, but I’m probably going to have to go with Kid, there is just something about the “pre chorus” or whatever that gets my heart beating faster. Although in about a week, I can see A Lot Like Me being my favourite. How about you?
  7. I'm getting rather tired of the idiotic bickering in the reviews thread. I think it just mainly comes from people that have lived under a rock the past 10 years and still think the band is 'tru punx!' Anyway...what's your favorite song so far?
  8. Hey thanks! Can't say I'm a fan of the music video though.
  9. just wanted to mention that i really liked your review, nice job!
  10. Thanks man, can't wait to read yours!
