I've said that all the members of the Fisticuffs group are telepathically linked...it must be true
I've been experimenting, which is really fun to do, but I haven't been able to get the result I'm looking for. Obviously, I have no experience with the different modes and such, but I'll delve deeper into stuff like that soon. All that stuff is interesting.
Hehe, and I just got up
Yeah, and just experiment with your voice and see what comes out. I got a little inspired from these vids yesterday and started looking for some growl and stuff. It didn't went too good - but it was fun
Wow, you have excellent timing. I JUST got home.
Anyway, yes it will be of great use, and you said exactly what I was going to. Now that I know it's possible, it's all a matter of getting all the info I can and applying it.
You're welcome I hope it can be of some use to you, at least you know now that you can do it, just have to figure out how!
Hi! Once again, I haven't read the whole thing yet, but thanks so much! <3<3
So, you get me going on vocal technique and I just won't stop
I guess it's because it's my passion so I just can't help it
Anyway, I'll send you a PM so I won't fill up you're whole profile page
I really needed that strap. I had like the cheapest one you can buy and it just wasn't enough for that heavy guitar of mine. I didn't go for a very expensive one this time either, but I really hope it will do a better job.
I'm glad to hear that you get some sleep now and then. I've just noticed that you're often online when the other americans aren't
There are ways to achive that safely! I'm not very good at it myself, but I'm working on it. There are different kinds of effects that you can add to your voice, like distortion, growl and rattle (don't know if that's the correct english term) but I have to think about how to explain it, so please let me get back to you on that one.
Wow, I say you did a damn good bit of shopping if the highlight is a guitar strap. I badly need one myself! Mine won't even stay on if I tighten the peg things on it. Awesome straps are so expensive, though :P
Hahahaha, another funny assessment. I do sleep...occasionally. Hehe, kidding. I don't work on a normal person's schedule, so I'm probably asleep when you're at work. Or something
I have sorta come to terms with my voice, and have accepted that I don't have that awesome "grittiness"...the growly kinda thing, hehe. Hopefully, you know what I mean. I was just wondering if there's some kind of technique that will allow me to SAFELY achieve that. I think it would add a nice bit of spice to my vocals. Thanks.
Didn't get a lot of shopping done, but at least I got myself a new strap for my guitar and that was something that I really needed!
I've gotten the impression that you don't sleep, like ever! Is that correct?
Well, weren't there two pieces of news? Something about a new song on myspace (have to check that out!) and also this Lars-thing
Fire away when you feel ready to do so - I'm curious about what it can be...
Oh, cool. It's a great time to do some shopping then. It's the wee hours of the morning here, so everything is quiet. I like it. Stuff is great with me. If you have read the little update I gave in the Fisticuffs group, then there's not much new with me. :P
I have another vocal question for ya, but I think I'll save it for later. This one probably won't require a pdf, though.
