Yeah. Actually I'm kinda lucky I got into them. I always liked their stuff, but when I got my first album (Greatest Hits), I was initially going to HMV to get a Queens of the Stone Age album, but my mom was buying it, and wouldn't buy it because I already had it (the normal version, I was trying to get the DVD one). So I got GH because of Pretty Fly, Original Prankster, and Hit That
Yeah I know how that can be. It took me close to a year to track down real copies of all of their cds when I got tired of my copy of a copy of a copy...etc.
For me, my first song was Come Out and Play. I didn't get crazy into them until 10 years ago. Geeze! Being at a point in my life where I can say "They've been my favorite band for more than a decade" Really starts to make me feel old. I'm not even twenty! Post-highschool is a strange time in life.
yeah. i think its a good thing the first song i heard from them is Genocide though. and the fact that when my elementary was having a garage sale type thing, i was going to buy a copy of Smash that was there. but it was gone after school.
Nothing wrong with that. I've been hearing these guys on the radio since I started kindergarten. I've grown up with it.
oh ok. I've only been a fan for 3 1/2 years.
I'm not that much older than you. I just got hooked at a young age.
