Besides the standard ones, like Christmas, Easter and Worker's Day, we have the following:
Human Rights Day
National Women's Day
Day of Reconciliation
and the weirdest thing is that we call Easter Monday ... Family Day
Are there any other celebrations in the States that are out of the ordinary?
No, we don't celebrate thanksgiving ... as far as I am aware it is a holiday created by the pilgrims that set up homesteads in America. We don’t celebrate Halloween much either, at most we will have parties but there is no such thing as ‘trick or treat’
Oh yeah, you guys do that in the States and most other countries I have been too. We don't put up Christmas lights in our streets, the only place that gets decorated is the shopping malls and true to norm, it has already started.
I've been good, besides work, I have been keeping myself busy with my project amongst other things. Waiting for December to come because then I don't have to work for three weeks, I can certainly live with that How are things with you?
Did you clear out your VM box ... if so, I'll add a new message
<- This man hugged me.
I'm never here anymore
