Yes, everything worked out great, and we're having a lot of fun when we're practising. The chemistry in the band is awesome

You shouldn't be surprised, it's really a great song! Just keep 'em coming, man. Oh, and how was your birthday, did you have any celebration?

In other news, i quit my job. 3 months of working my ass off, working overtime every single day made me realise it's just not for me. I'm not too upset about it though, as i did earn some money, which will go for my scholarship (when i do find something better to study than archaeology). If i'd continue working there i'd loose my nerves completely, and i'm not joking here. Being nervous before an university exam can't even compare to being nervous because of this job. The pressure was too much to take, i couldn't sleep because of it. So i called it quits before it would be too late.

Dude, Spiders are Eating My Brain is amazing! Seriously, great job on this one, great guitar work, and don't even make me start about how good your vocals sound

I (well, actually we as a band) am working on the new, grungier sounding song (you know which one), and it's starting to turn out interesting. Basically i took the direction i started with Semper Fi, but further. Started playing with guitar effects a bit, and it sounds something new for us. We're kind of taking a risk with this one (though it still doesn't sound that different, but since we're usually playing punk...). It sounds heavy as fuck, and i (we) like it
  3. Hey hey! Happy birthday I wish you all what you would like me to wish you, and also a lot of Offspring concerts

Goddammit. We just had another motherfucking earthquake, though it was a weak one. Of all of the earthquakes i remember in my life, half of them happened in the last 3 months. None of them caused any damage (luckily), but we felt some of them quite a bit. And each of them had an epicenter just around where i live. I hope this isn't the sign of anything bad to happen...

I hope you're enjoying your trip. I gotta check out your new songs, i haven't done so yet, but from the descriptions of others i think i'll like what i'll hear
  7. Haha, I checked out the MySpace links in your signature a while ago and that's how I know your name Since I don't know anyone else named Randy, I figured it must be you!
  8. Thanks for the invite

Heh, we're alike then. Except that i have problems with making happier-sounding songs. Making an angry and agressive song doesn't seem like a challenge anymore. Whatever i come up with ends up sounding either angry, agressive and fast or angry, melanholic and slow (or slow and agressive). My brain must really be fucked up, i guess

Ha, why is it that always when i just mess around with my guitar when i come up with something that sounds awesome? Triying to come up with something never works.

I just got an idea for a new song, which sounds really agressive, fast punk-type song, but with strong grunge vibe. I just started playing and the main riff came spontaneously, and then everything else formed in my head. After 5 minutes the song is half-finished (well, the melody at least).

Shit, i got another new idea right now, gotta record it...

About randman21
Everybody to the limit.Truck driver. Musician. Punk Rock enthusiast. Activist. Peerless lover. Fearless fighter. Haver of Y Chromosomes. ------Randy was born into humble beginnings on the planet of Mars. His father and ancestors before him worked in the mines of the nearby moon, Phobos. Randman knew this was not the destiny that stood before him. When he turned 9 years old, the Martian equivalent to 18 Earth years, he decided to leave his home planet and venture to a planet where he could express his artistic imagination: Earth.Upon arrival, however, his talent was met with little attention. After several attempts and eventual failure, he was on his last stretch of hope. If he didn't make a name for himself, it was off back to Mars and the mines. After an epic show at a local club, a small, unknown band took notice of his talent and asked him to sing for their band. They were The SRIs, featuring drummer Josh Freese, Guitarist Jesus Christ and Bassist Chuck Norris. After 3 short practices, they began recording their debut album. The album, This Album Is So Awesome, You Have No Fucking Idea was released to unsatisfactory results, only selling 4 million units in the United States. After such a failure, they buckled down for their next album. This album was Out Next Album. It was so incredible, it launched the band to superstardom. It's success could only be matched by the next five albums, Hey, Are You Still Listening, What's That Smell?, Earth Just Shit It's Pants, Try Not to Jizz Yourself, and Rise and Rise, Kiss Our Ass. With quintuple diamond certifications for all seven of their albums, The SRIs can be hailed as the greatest band ever to have been conceived.--Adapted from a biography by Brian Donald Ponce, noted historian
