Hahaha, how did you get the reputation for being an asshole so fast. You've been called out three times in three days, man.
hey wut goes on ppls
How are things going(a chic told me I disrespected Dexter in the "History behind GONE AWAY" thread. Seriously. I tried to get people to stop. Can you believe it?)
1:how old r u
2:r u a dude or chic
3:wut is ur name
4:finally someone agrees with me
i agree with you on the whole gone away thing and if the rumors are true ppl should shut their fucking mouths and show dexter some respect cuz (if it is true) he clearly does not want to talk about it and i can understand why
Eh, it's ok, we're sparing these tracks for the full length album in the future, so it's even better!
Yeah, the name is very punkish, but our music varies more, it's not just typical punk rock, we have a lot of grunge elements also (and by grunge elements i really mean true grunge, not post-grunge ala Nickelback), some stoner, alternative rock and also some metal elements. But i guess that grunge and punk are the most prominent genres.
I just finished mixing an instrumental track of one of our songs (needs bass and vocals, which will hopefully be recorded next week), and damn, the sound is really good. We recorded it very un-professionally, not even in a studio, but the sound is so much better than anyone could have hoped for. This song got a lot of praise when we played it live, everyone loved it (Semper Fi - it's a grunge song, middle tempo, with quite angry lyrics)
Hey, man, how's it going?
The plans fell into water, EP won't be released - we don't have enough time to record everything, we'll finish only 3 songs and put them on our myspace, when we create it. However, instead about the EP we're talking about a full-length album in the future, so we're not feeling disappointed. Oh, and we chose a name (finally): The Redestructed. We had a gig on saturday, and play 3 of our songs also, and the reception was very positive. The future doesn't look bad for the band
My summer is really enjoyable! I have read my way through 'Lies My Teacher Told Me' and am working on reading an American History textbook. Today I am helping with a Summerfest get together that the college is putting on for the community. We have inflatable games and such, carnival type food, and a lot of fun! I just bought a new camera and am working on getting all the kinks worked out before the blink-182 concert. And am getting ready for the Praxis II test which will get me licensed in the state of Montana. How is your summer going?
I'm planning to see The Offspring on Sziget, and the next day i'm going to see Anti-Flag. They are playing in Celje (i'm from Slovenia) and the chance is just too good to miss. So this is going to be a great summer, although it looks like i'll fail my study again. But if that happens i'm planning to get myself a job - i'd still be happy, because i could still be in my band alongside, and that's what matters the most to me, i live for music. So whatever happens i'll accept it.
Anyway, since you like catchy pop punk music i thought you might be interested in this band: http://www.myspace.com/elvisjacksonband
They're my favorite Slovenian band, and their new album Against The Gravity is amazing, one of the best punk rock albums i bought in a very long time, a perfect summer album, really catchy, energetic and the production is great. I think the download link is in other bands section, thread Elvis Jackson (just search it, you'll need the password to unrar it, it's written next to the link). You might like them.
