In my humble opinion RON was and always will be their best, not only because of him recording all of the "good" and some of the "bad" records but also because of tons of reasons such as: joining the band as a little kid, playing the coolest driving punk drums that gave me so much joy as maybe only Dany from Mal Momento or Marky RAMONE did and that the beauty of his punk drumming I can only compare it to TSOL's Todd Barnes(R.I.P)
As for their other drummers Pete seems really cool and for sure he proved he can handle his job when he played their IGNITION Tour this year and on the few songs he played on the new album. Atom had strenght, but lack of personality if you ask me even in the videos he appeared, and Josh isnt a member of the offspring his just a friend of them that happens to be a pro drummer.
For me it's Ron and always will be.
this thread has been made a bunch of times this year but to me ron is the only offspring drummer the other guys are fill in drummers
in my eyes to be considered a member of a band you have to do two things
1 record a album with them
2 go on tour with them
so far ron is the only guy to do that

I love Pete but Ron is ...history.
Difficult to choose, they're all great, but since Pete is the only Offspring drummer I've seen live and I agree that he matches the band, my voice goes to him.
Though I still regret I didn't get a chance to see Ron playing with The Offspring live.
Ron, I'd say. More for the fact that he was the original, and I just feel weird about replacements. And nowadays it seems like the Offspring are Dexter, Noodles and Greg, and whatever drummer they happen to have at the moment.
With regards to talent and style? I dunno. Never thought much about it.
I'm grateful that I've got to seen the band live with Ron, Atom and Pete. Everybody's got their own bravura's but I have to say that Ron was a master at timing and doing those very little things with hi-hat rhytmness and stuff... underrated I'd say.
The most powerful All I Want live Youtube clip goes to a clip with Atom behind the drums. From Spain, Oviedo 2005.
