    Default 10 letter rule, 30 seconds rule.

    Why are they...rules? It sucks. Come on, take them out.

    That's all.

    WRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

    And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
    On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
    And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
    And the lamplight o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the
    floor;
    And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
    Shall be lifted- nevermore!

    well, the 30 second rule makes it so you can't post million things over and over agian.

    The 10 character rule reduces spam.

    but both of them can be a pain in the ass at times.

    I think the 30 seconds rule is fine, the 10 letter rule, however, is a pain in the ass.

    i think alot of characters have a 10 character limit. it gets really annoying when people respond by "yeah" or something pointless like that.

    I admit, the 30 second rule is, at times, annoying.

    If you have something that can't be said in more than 10 characters, it isn't worth saying.

    And yet you think it's possible to read through a topic and write up a worthwhile reply in under thirty seconds?

    If it's a very short topic, yes.
