    I like the Mets.
    WRRRRYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!

    And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
    On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
    And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
    And the lamplight o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the
    floor;
    And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
    Shall be lifted- nevermore!

    The Red Sox will crumble. They have horrible starting pitching and an even worse bullpen, which means a helluva lot more than those miracle home runs every now and then. They're a great team and they can make it past the White Sox, but I don't know how much farther they can go.

    I pick the Yankees to win it all, naturally. But if they don't, I can see the Astros over the Angels.

    No, it doesn't, especially when the Yankees' offense is just as strong, but hasn't quite been as timely.

    In a short series, you can get by on offense, but if you're facing a team with strong enough pitching, all is lost. I still think the Red Sox will beat the White Sox, but if Contreras, Garland, and Buerle get going, again, all is lost.

    I'd really like to see the Red Sox repeat as Champs, but I just don't see them getting past the Angels.

    The Angels are better than I like to give them credit for, but I dunno, I don't take them too seriously. They've always been Yankee killers though, which is a little scary.

    1-1 is a better situation than 0-2. Especially being tied 1-1 with the Angels, who are a pretty good team, rather than being down 0-2 against the ChiSox, a thoroughly average one.

    Then again, what do YOU know about baseball in October, Wisconsin resident? =P
