It's not bad being an idiot.

I was right about the Tavarez era, though. Watching him frequently bowl the baseball to first base on grounders because he's neurotic about throwing (he's a professional pitcher for those playing along at home) was a definite highlight this year.

I'm a huge baseball fan, and what a day this was.

Polanco got his 200th hit, Magglio won the batting title, Rollins just got his 20-20-20-20 season, and the Mets were eliminated.

It was a great season, especially as a Tigers fan.

Playoff Predictions! (NL subject to change)

    ALDS:
    Indians over Yankees in 5
Red Sox over Angels in 4

    ALCS:
Red Sox over Indians in 6.

    NLDS:
    Diamondbacks over Cubs in 3
    Phillies over Rockies in 4

    NLCS:
    Diamondbacks over Phillies in 6

    World Series:
Somehow, the Red Sox blow it against the Diamondbacks.

And holy shit, Mets. Holy holy holy holy holy shit.

EDIT1:As a matter of fact, the entire day gets a "holy shit!" from me. This is why I love this sport so fucking much, seriously.

EDIT2:The Yankees are 73-39 since May 29. lol.

EDIT3: I'm glad you can still see the silver lining even though the defending AL champs aren't playing in October. Magglio's average is fucking sick, and if it weren't for ARod he'd definitely win the MVP. Or at least be close(r).

I'm one day away from having a team to root for in the playoffs. I hope the rockies can beat the padres tomorrow. It would have been better if the Brewers didn't suck so much in Auguest. Then if the rockies can beat the padres, i'd have 2 teams to root for.

Damn, Chipper was so close to the batting title. It's so amazing that he can even come that close as old as he is.

Actually, Holliday could go like, 0-5 tonight, and Chipper Jones could get it... right?

Because it was on national television? Just a guess.

...you were in Colorado tonight?! Wha?!

It's funny, I almost picked the Padres to go to the World Series, considering they were the only contender with even decent starting pitching. lol @ me, amirite?

Jake Peavy and Arod don't perform well under pressure.
