There hasn't even been a clear official release-date yet, so how can it be delayed?

"Some reports believe the new album was supposed to be released in October/November 2005 and has now been delayed until next year due to unknown difficulties."

I thought it was rumoured to be released in November/December 2006?

They said they were going to start working on a new album from the end of this year.

Their albums release dates always lives its own life, you can't be sure of it until like a month before the release, heh.

But someone could always make conclusion of that article, such as Atom's things... Not me though.

Time to point out some mistakes.

It will be the follow-up to their most recent studio album "Splinter" (2002).
'Twas released in 2003, I believe.

The Offspring released a "Greatest Hits" album last year, which includes previously unreleased track "Can't Repeat". The CD sat at Number 8 on the Billboard Top 200.
LAST year? Wow. I didn't know one year was only 3 months.

I personally already thought this album won't be released in 2 months but next year.
