Finished Beloved. Was really good! Can't understand all the negative review saying it was too hard to read.
Started on The Demolished Man by Alfred Bester. So far so good.
The Tiger's Wife.
Brilliant book by Tea Obreht, with a purposeful geographical vagueness, but I'm pretty sure anyone who's familiar with European history can give a general idea as to the idea of the world and pick up the rest from the linguistic queues and the place names.
More importantly, I have no idea if she wrote this in English but it's the most beautifully written book I can remember reading since East of Eden and that's important.
