    this crazy shit about dolphins from the 50s called Man and Dolphin.

    I love that whenever someone talks about 'A Short History of Nearly Everything' as they often do here in Berkeley, I can say "The hunk to end all hunks sent me that book in the mail."

    Well, shit - your post reminded me of a book by Ronald Wright called a Short History of Progress that I wanted to reread. I just tore apart the house looking for it with no luck.
