out of interest, did anyone go to any of the uk stadium shows?! i never thought the time would come when i just wouldnt bother going to see them but its happened. there was the usual hype that they were planning something special, im just curious if it amounted to anything?!
whenever i learn something new it pushes some old knowledge out of my brain, remember that home wine making course when i forgot how to drive?!

Didn't attend for geographic reasons: but the Wembly show was apparently 2.5 hours long.

I don't like Green Day much anymore, but I saw them a few days ago at Rock Werchter, and they were actually brilliant. You could tell that they put so much effort into making everything perfect.

Yeah, their live shows are a lot of fun.

I'd go see them this summer in Toronto, but their general admission tickets will be over $100, and i don't pay that kind of money for concerts.

Hey I was just wondering if you guys heard the new songs Green Day recently played during a few of their sound checks. Here are links to download each of them:

    Stay The Night - http://www.mediafire.com/?dtndnwztdmdkmzj

    Dreamcatcher - http://www.mediafire.com/?nevejvtgtjyd2ez

    Unknown Song - http://www.mediafire.com/?mzyzqowjtmmnnth

Anyways, I was just wondering what you guys think of these songs.
Personally, I like Stay The Night. I think it has an older Green Day kind of feel to it.

I'm digging Stay the Night, ^you're right, it sort of has an older sound to it, like it came from Nimrod or something.

dont get me wrong, i enjoy the shows they play but considering they have stuck with the tried and tested method for god knows how long, its no surprise they have things down perfectly. as much as i like i just wish they could explore other avenues at the shows rather than getting people onstage and all the needless chanting through the songs during hte entire set!
