Fuck no, IMO Bad Religion without Brett (including "I Love My Computer") is much worse than Bad Religion with Brett.

Bah, Brett is overrated... Let's give Hetson more chance to write

This is the only reason I can think of. Man it must suck to be a fjeldabe.

Me? My answer is the virgin mary, preferably pre-birth although that would ruin the mythos.

Has anyone heard the new song (The devil in stitches)?
It's nice. It's definately one of Brett's song - it really shows.

It is one of those mellower BR songs which do not grow on you on the first listen. I listened to it once and I was just like, meh, but I bet it will grow on me. Or...?

It's alright. I have no problems with it. I hope this new one is as good as New Maps. New Maps was really good, better then Empire and The Process imo.

    I don't mind it.

I'd rather the new album sound like Empire than New Maps though, felt that was the better of the newish Bad Religion albums.

Empire was a great album, don't get me wrong, but in terms of songs that I can listen to over and over again and never get sick of them, New Maps was it. Every track was gold on that album.

I think we can all agree that TPOB was the comeback everyone was hoping for.

But...I really like TESB a lot more than NMOH...both song for song as a whole, it just really feels solid from start to finish. The last one just seemed to be done like "another BR record"...not all that love put into it.

I thought similarly about the song. I instantly liked the Resist Stance and I understand that they might want to release a slower song after that to give a better prospect to the new album. Maybe it will grow on me later when I listen to it in the middle of the new album. It would not be a good opening song for a BR album in my opinion.
