Oh thank you very much TijsI was so desperate I tried to read his signature of some high res jpegs of the back cover, but all I came up with was "Pioada"
Edit: I noticed a little detail when I bumped into the picture few days back. I always knew that on the Ixnay version of it the standing skeleton is giving all the other bones a middle finger and I thought it's part of the original drawing. And it's not![]()

At the request of Dulce, I am posting the wire sculpture I made of Dexter when I was in 10th grade as a project for art class. It was displayed in my high school's art show that year, along with a grid technique drawing of the whole band.

I said, "Hi, Greg. I'm the creepy girl." He chuckled, then wanted a handshake and I gave it. I wanted a hug and he gave it. One of his sons was there, too. Cute. Then Pete got him to autograph my sign for me because I was too polite to ask myself since he was on his way to eat. Pete also took this of photo of him holding it. - 8/2/2014.

Haha, yeah. ^,^
Here are the others I also made when I was 15. The top one was exhibited at my high school's art show with the wire Dexter. The technique was to grid a black-and-white photo, scale it up on paper, and draw each square one-by-one as if it were its own drawing, until the whole thing is complete. Sadly, the printed BW photos I used printed with less detail than their color counterparts, so the drawings also have less detail.

I sure do! ^,^
I have a partially-carved Greg K playing bass made of plaster of paris made in the same art class, but it sucks and is incomplete. While carving it, I kept slipping and cutting up my fingers and hands. I had 13 band-aids on them at one point due to my inexperience with carving tools. His head and leg broke off so they are glued back on, haha. I, uh, was a loner in high school and I kept to myself and my CD's a lot, so I did a lot of Offspring art.
The only recent Offspring-related art I did was the one I put onto the sign I brought to the concert that got me noticed by the band. It's the one in my sig. I was just a couple months post-op from wrist surgery, so it took about 8 hours. I'm planning on drawing a comical picture of Noodles soon.

Moving story, it touched me in a sense of I was also a loner in high school. You kept busy with cool stuff and it was worth it having fun in activities/hobbies. I admire folks that motivates themselves by doing something that they're passionate about. Looking forward to your comical Noodles side-project in the future! The band could hire you as their photographer - hence the pics you posted from the lovely concert you attended! for reals, the ones you took of the men are amazing, Melyssa. Would reconsider it as a giving opportunity offer? =^•^=
If they offered me an opportunity to be their concert photographer, I'd accept it in a heartbeat, but I have no formal training and I don't know much about cameras, so that could never happen. All I know how to do is get the right angle and zoom, and wait for the moment to be right to capture gold moments on camera. There's no way a tiny unknown photo hobbyist as myself could ever expect to be anything more than an opportunistic photographer when they come to my city and I snag front row. Thanks for the vote of confidence, though. It helped pick my spirits up.
