Smile I got it now - my guitar!

Hello, Offspring punk rockers! Today I got my first and only electric guitar + amplifier! It's not expensive one, not at all, but at least it is Ibanez and I want to share my happiness with you - I feel like one of the happiest guys in the world now - a little dream came true for me! I hope soon I'll be able to play some of The Offspring's great songs and I might need some help for that with correct guitar tabs and some tips from you! Thank you and I hope I didn't put this thread in the wrong place

I think JiiHoo has good Offspring tabs, although he will not do any of the newer songs.

Congratulations, Danitanev! The day you get your first instrument is always monumental. I got my first electric four years ago, on the same day I got my driver's license (so it was a great day).

I suggest looking up some basic guitar lessons on youtube before trying to play offspring songs. It will save you a lot of frustration! And an excellent place for tabs that the bassist in my band just told me about is Songsterr. They show you the tab for any instrument you choose, while you play along with some kind of instrumental version of it.

I know how you feel. I got my guitar about 3 years ago and today I love it even more than I did back then.
I have all tab books of the Offspring and all tabs from Americana as adobe acrobat document.
You can also get tab books including play along cds which you can install on your computer and regulate the speed. Ebay is your friend

I hope these books may be useful for you, they're the official guitarbooks, with accurate tabs and lyrics, I only have these, but I know there is one for Splinter, and another for Greatest Hits, but I can't found the PDF's.
I don't know if there are books for Self titled, Ignition, or Rise and Fall, If someone has them, please upload them.

    Thumbs up Thanks!

Thanks a lot guys, for your help and support! I've played a few short parts yesterday after my guitar was tuned by myself (it's good that they put this little tuner in my guitar set - it helps a lot) the intro from The kids aren't alright and some chords from Pretty Fly (for a white guy) - I got some tabs long time ago from my causins - I play bad (but it's not the worst) but I hope soon it'll be better! Thanks again guys
