agreed. In all honesty it was short sighted of Arizona to fire its previous coach and hire stoops. That said He was entertaining to watch, you never knew when his head was going to just straight explode.

Hopefully it starts with a win against sc tomorrow
it's bad enough we are losing but the manner in which we are losing is frustrating. We make crapy teams like SC look good and that's because we make fourty thousand mistakes. What happened to tedford? this team still hasn't recovered from the kevin riley mistake in 2007 when we were a play away from becoming #1 in the country...
Well, the SEC is stomping ass as usual, and Arkansas is #10. Life is good.
Well, this is most certainly disappointing, and a little shocking. Arkansas is getting worked over by Ole Miss right now. They're like the first or second worst team in the SEC, and Arkansas is about as good as it's ever been in the conference. I have faith that we'll prevail by the end of the game, but being 10-17 in the third quarter is pretty pathetic. It'll be hard to overtake them with no momentum. But, we were in a similar situation with Texas A&M, and we won. Actually, the A&M predicament was slightly worse.
I don't think there have been any real upsets in the SEC this season. One is certainly due, but I sure hope it's not this one. Ole Miss is pretty god-awful this year. And it burns twice as hot being vs. Nutt and all.
Edit: Right about the time I post that, we tie it up 17-17. Whew.
Well, we obliterated UCLA, so that gives me some hope for this season, although UCLA is definitely crap this year. Looks like the only real teams we have left are ASU and Washington. I think we can pull an upset on both teams, if not, then maybe only one. I remain hopeful.

Next: How about Texas Tech taking Oklahoma to the woodshed? Upset of the season for sure. Arkansas will move up to #7 thanks to Wisconsin and Oklahoma losing to unranked teams. It's starting to get interesting. Also, my #2 team, Texas A&M were victorious. Good week.
Well, no one has posted in this in quite awhile. Who's rooting for who later this week? Anyone going to watch/attend the LSU and Alabama game? Supposed to be a Game of the Century.
This saturday's game is Arizona's homecoming, so I'm going to be busy all day, unfortunately. I am really curious to see how that game turns out, though.
Also, did anyone catch last week's Stanford game? Completely insane. I hope Stanford takes the national title.

I don't know about Stanford, man. I know they're theoretically a terrifically tough team this year, but they (along with Clemson and Boise State) have such horrible schedules this year. Compared to their skill level, they're all playing nothing but creampuff teams.
USC seemed kind of like a dark horse to me. They're not half bad this year, and they're the best team Stanford had played thus far. I thought for sure they were going to lose because it seems like their entire season up now (and the only really good team they have left is Oregon, and another USC situation with Notre Dame) have just been warmup games. You can't play almost your entire season versus sub-par teams or the first real one you meet is going to give you a culture shock.
Oklahoma State is going to have to lose before Stanford can bid for the National Title anyway. OK-State is going to be playing some pretty tough teams pretty soon, so it could definitely happen.
I find it kind of funny that Houston has a similar schedule, except even worse. They're going to probably win out 12-0, and then win their bowl game and finish as a Top 10 BCS team without ever playing one single team even close to being ranked. I don't know if they're lucky for being able to do so well without even trying, or unlucky for being so freakishly good and not having the chance to really test themselves.
