The Dark Knight Rises 8/10
i liked it better then i thought i would make sure you have seen batman begins before you watch it
The Expendables 2 8/10
pretty much the same as the first one
Cabin in the Woods 8/10
Not what I expected at all. Story was really good. It had a meta film vibe to it with the horror themed setting, but this is used more like a plot device for the real story. It had a really good twist that surprised me. The performances from the female lead, Chris Hemsworth and the Stoner were very likable and memorable. Overall, great movie. Worth a watch.
In terms of comedic movies, it does not take a whole lot to impress me. Unfortunately this movie did not meet the bar. It was very predictable, everything in it had been done, over and over again. 2/10
Final Destination 5 7/10
Having seen the previous 4 movies, I can say this is probably one of the best of the franchise. The last two started to become formulaic, border lining comedic, gore porn flicks. The tension in these movies was becoming laughable and the characters were forgettable victims of elaborate, over the top death scenes, which to be honest is what the audience of these movie's want, but it doesn't have to cost plot or decent character development. The plot, of course, is simple, but this movie spends a lot more time developing it's characters. There aren't very many annoying asshole characters like in the last two movies (save for one guy who gets offed pretty early) and the rest of the cast, including the minor characters, seem a lot more sincere and memorable. The pace is a lot slower than the last movie, allowing us time to breath in what's going on. The direction was also really good and the twist ending is a nice reference for fans of this franchise (somebody already semi-spoiled it for me, so when I saw the clues that lead to it, I already knew what was coming, but it was still nice). Overall, if you liked the first two movies, this one is definitely worth a watch.

Primer... movie from 2004, Budget: $7,000. It is a mindfuck! I didnīt understand it all, gonna watch again this weekend. But I recommend everyone to watch it.
The nice thing is there was no "real" actors when they made the movie. The directors does pretty much everything, he is also the main actor and many of the other characters are played by his friends and family.
Detention (The Movie) - I gave it a one star for the heck of it. From now on, I shall only watch movies with my guy friends.
i agree but john lithgow and dan aykroyd did a pretty good job as a parody of the koch brothers
