Was Idle Hands a film anybody watched repeatedly after their first viewing of it? I mean, I get it, we all saw it because we like the Offspring but fucking ... really? It feels like one of those films you might not appreciate once the novelty of seeing your fave band on-screen has worn off.

    The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey

Unfortunately I was a bit baked for the first half hour so was a bit overwhelmed, but after that I began to really enjoy it. The music is so fucking intense. I loved Martin Freeman as Bilbo, think he was a great choice for the part. The 3 hours really flew by, I was hoping that it wouldn't end, but alas.

    Also loved Kili

Can't wait for the next one! Think I will reread the book now.

It's the most awesome movie ever, not just because of The Offspring. Jessica Alba and Seth Green act there too. The complete opposite of "Pauly Shore is dead". Dexter is in that movie too (just in the outtakes of the DVD), like many other celebrities, but it's still the worst movie I've seen.
Do you think you‘d sell your soul
To just have one thing to turn out right?

I agree even if The Offspring were not in it I would still really like Idle Hands

but then again I like almost anything that is a horror comedy and yeah Pauly Shore is dead is an awful B movie

I think Idle Hands manages to stand on its own merits. Granted its not very well made, but its still pretty fun.

    Lawless

Was really good: Guy Pierce really steals every scene he's in. Would have liked to have seen more of Gary Oldman's character. I really like Nick Cave's work as a screen-writer - i totally need to watch The Proposition again.

    Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol

It was a lot of fun - I appreciated that they didn't shy away from the over the top action scenes.

I saw 2012 yesterday. I had not seen it before and thought it was fitting to see it yesterday.
