    Default The Big Year 8.5/10

    "The Big Year"

Very good solid comedy, though not enough of Steve Martin. Jack Black is finally starting to grow on me - I just did not like him right away years ago, but he's alright now. The blonde guy in this film is - ugh - anyways, his character reminds me of this guy I work with - really sort of bland personality - but it takes all kinds!

Good all around decent comedy movie. Catch it online, on DVD, etc.

    2 thumbs up.

    Sleepless in Seattle 4.5/10

Very overrated movie in my opinion. I thought it was going to be more funnier, and i thought that the story was boring and slow. Plus Tom Hanks can't even save this film.

Here is quick info from IMDB: A recently-widowed man's son calls a radio talk show in an attempt to find his father a partner.

Yeah that one wasn't really that good. But I like the way Meg Ryan looked back then.

    Tower Heist 7/10

Nice to see Eddie Murphy back. Mathew Broderick was good too (still like his acting in War Games - amazing). The storyline itself was predictable - nonetheless I enjoyed watching this one. And I'd really, really like to have that car or at least a tiny little piece of it ...

    Bridgemaids were sooo gooood.

So was Sherlock Holmes part 1. It should be one and only part.

    (500) days of Summer was not so good. I generally don't like twisted love stories, and it was nothing more than that.

Has anybody seen "Mulholland Drive" ? Everybody can love it or hate it. I love it because it's a riddle-movie and so ...weird. It's one of my top five films I've seen so far.

    The Descendants-poster

Loved it. Clooney was perfect as always; did a great job of handling a story about death without it dipping into over sentimentality.

Really liked this as well: was a lot darker than i had thought, especially that last scene at the ex-boyfriends house. Was neat seeing all the punk references with Patton Oswalt's character.
