I like a few Pennywise albums, but I saw them live a few years ago and was utterly disappointed. They couldn't keep a steady tempo and weren't together at all, the songs blurred together to a point where I could hardly tell them apart, and Jim CONSTANTLY was yelling shit about the police, and then apologizing to the actual cops whenever they came near the stage. One of the most forgettable shows I've ever seen.

I do own two of their albums (Full Circle and Straight Ahead), and I have 8 more albums in mp3 form. Straight Ahead is probably the best album they've made, and the only one I ever really listen to. However, this will never stop being an absolutely fantastic song.

Just noticed this, and I agree SO much. Their biggest weakness in my eyes is that all their songs sound the same (which was severely exemplified when I saw them live). There's so little diversity, even from album to album, that I get bored with them really fast. That might be why I only ever listen to one or two albums from them; it's enough of the same. That one type of song they write, though, they do a good job of. It just gets old after a while.

Wait, what? For what reason was he saying sorry? He would just criticize them and say sorry seconds later?
When they said "sit down", I stood up.

The new song is nothing mindblowing, Zoli's voice sounds great however. But I'm looking forward to the more catchier stuff on the album.

Second. That's my favorite song by them, along with Full Circle being my favorite album.

I think he thought he was funny or something? I'm not sure. He'd yell "fuck the police!" or whatever, and then whenever the police came close, he'd say "just kidding, officers" or something. Every single time, over and over. If it was supposed to be funny, it wasn't.

In other news, I like the new single. It doesn't sound the same as their other songs - that's probably part of why
