Lightbulb Best Power Ballad OF ALL TIME

I got inspired from my post in this other thread, so my curiosity has reached a researching level, and I wanted to ask you guys, if you like power ballads, and which one you think is the best, or which one you really like or enjoy.

Btw, yes, I am talking about 80's and 90's cheesy hard rock power ballads with electric guitars with heavy choruses and stuff. There may be more recent pieces that can fit in the power balad description, but I don't know much about those, I don't really listen to new music, only new albums of relatively old bands I like, like TO, of course.

As is said on that other thread, the BEST POWER BALLAD OF ALL TIME has to be Denial Revisited, by The Offspring, even if it's not an 80's hard rock cheesy song, but I think it fits in the description, maybe we can call it Power Punk Rock Ballad, but whatever, the idea is the same, I believe.

If you don't agree with the idea of Denial Revisited being a power ballad, then Every Rose has its Thorn, by Poison could be the best.

Does Fade to Black count as a power ballad? If so, that wins.

First person to say November Rain gets a disapproving glare.

I'm not sure about Fade to Black, by Metallica, because it's not a love song, but it's epic, tho, and the guitar solo has the vibe, kinda, so I'll allow it! lol! Anything goes!

I feel the same about November Rain, by G'n'Roses, but it's definitely a power ballad.

This always sends tingles up my spine. Lyrically... melodically... it all cuts to the core.
I would spread the cloths under your feet: but I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; tread softly because you tread on my dreams.

There are so many good ballads by so many bands. I vote for Metallica's ballads. Any ballad by them is great.

    November Rain

What classifies a ballad anyways? Anyone care to enlighten me?

I don't know about "all time", but the best power ballad of the last few years is definitely "Man or Muppet".
