It's very hard to calculate in time, because I took a bus, plane, car, train, and walked at different points in the trip, but Google Maps says ~5000 miles/~6600 km (from my house to Paris, counting all the stops and detours I had to make). Sounds about right.
The only time I ever saw them was in Belo Horizonte, Brazil in 2008, I went by bus and it took me 17 hours to get there.
3000+ miles twice. Took a plane Mexico City - Vancouver.
The second longest, plane Mexico City - Phoenix and then Phoenix - Seattle
No doubt I'll do it again and again!!
About an hour, but I've seen them 3 times. When I was 17, I pushed my way to the front row and the crowd moshed and my ribs got hurt so badly it took half a year to fully heal. But it was totally worth it!
i would travel to see them more if they didn't play the same setlist so much
Home -> Train station (5,5km) car
Train station -> Destination train station (178km) train
Train station -> Friend's house (8,2km) bus
Friend's house -> Pub nearby (10km) bus
Pub nearby -> Bus station (1km) legs
Bus station -> Airport (164km) bus
Helsinki airport -> Berlin airport (1274km) airplane
Berlin airport -> Taxi to hotel (8km) taxi
Hotel -> Venue (1km) legs
Also a bit of skating in Berlin center city, approximated lenght; 2km ice skates
But if you count two weeks constant touring, that tops the kilometres quite a lot! 8 shows, lot's of countries.
On the other hand, the closest one so far;
Home -> festival area (3,5km) bike
Hoping for the next stop in the future;
Finland (home) -> Sweden, Stockholm (about 595km) boat
