    To kami_mathieu:

The guy in black, is it you? You're playing two different guitars, right? Because you're stroking the strings with the right hand in one picture, and with the left hand in the other picture. How's that possible? Or is one of them a mirror-image?

Beginner's elitism... you know how it is.

These kids think that if your gear's not worth Steve Vai's you're not worth listening to.

You can get some good sounds out of a squier but I'm just not a fender fan in general. Plus every squier I have ever touched has broke within 2 hours (not being my fault)

In fact, the only fender I would ever purchase would probably be a showmaster.

Nothing against the people who own them though, I'm sure they are very fine/will be fine musicians.

Oh, and here is my newest member to my instrument family:

I have an RG370 dx, a Squire Strat, and a Squire P-Bass. The Strat never gets played mostly because it sucks, but I guess it was a good beginner guitar.

As far as Fenders go, I really don't like Strats very much, but Jaguar absolutely rule.

I don't remember ever posting my instrument on here, so this is my current guitar. It's a Yamaha Pacifica 412V. It's a substantial notch above the cheapest pacificas, but only about twice as expensive. It's a great, extremely varied guitar, and considering I'm not going to be rocking any stadiums anytime soon the quality is perfect for everything I need.

This is the pedal I'm running everything through. Zoom's hardly known for quality most of the time, but this multieffect is solid. A lot of the drives and options are filler, but it's got some decent sounds to be pulled out of it.

On the acoustic side, I've got one of these Aria Dreadnoughts (the AD-28) that sounds quite nice. My coloring is the same as the one in front.
