My bottle just arrived, along with my 4-pack of the original Gringo sauce. Initially it's just like a hotter version of the regular sauce, but the aftertaste is totally different. I think I can actually taste the difference made by the Bhut Jolokia. There's a faint aftertaste that's similar to the one after I eat certain types of Indian food, which makes sense being an Indian pepper and all.

The only negative is that if you try the original recipe GB sauce right after it, it tastes fuckin' weird. Seriously, the original stuff tastes more like a vegetable puree than a hot sauce now. It's a weird sensation. I loved the original Gringo hot sauce the first time I had it. I'm sure I still will, but I'm gonna wait at least a day after having any of the private reserve before I touch it again.

Just having received the sauce, I haven't had a chance to really try it on any food other than crackers yet. And the whole "lick a drop of it off my hand" method. Tomorrow maybe I'll try something more substantial.
