Thread: Romantic songs

If "Me & My Old Lady" is a romantic song, then "I'll Be Waiting" and "A Thousand Days" are romantic too.

Yes, it is. Gone Away is the only main song that Dexter Holland provided me with strong hope to see my mom again or not.

Karin, are you going to banned me permanetly? I don't know how to fully express how I must feel when losing someone that close to my heart and soul.

I don't know, I think LAPD has some romantic elements to it.

And I feel very sorry for you losing your loved one, whoever he or she may be, Dulce.
Quand ils ont dis "Vous vous asseyez," je me suis levé.

You haven't broken any rules Maria. I just don't understand how any of those songs are romantic in any way? They all refer to relationships, but are hardly romantic. I mean... Want You Bad? That song is about him wanting his girlfriend to get tattoos and wear leather and do naughty, naughty things to him. the rest are about broken our otherwise dysfunctional relationships. romance is not really their style. Perhaps you were thinking of another word?

If you want romance, try I Caught Fire by The Used.

Yeah, every time they write a song about romance, it's always twisted somehow. "Self Esteem" is about being used by someone who hates you, "Me & My Old Lady" is about conflating love and lust, and so on.

Perhaps Denial, Revisited has a hint of romance in it, if only for the fact that he misses her, wants her back and is begging for forgiveness. For the Offspring, it's about as romantic as it gets.

I said, "Hi, Greg. I'm the creepy girl." He chuckled, then wanted a handshake and I gave it. I wanted a hug and he gave it. One of his sons was there, too. Cute. Then Pete got him to autograph my sign for me because I was too polite to ask myself since he was on his way to eat. Pete also took this of photo of him holding it. - 8/2/2014.

Maybe they aren't really romantic but how about songs that are about relationships that you can relate too.

I prefer it that way. Romantic songs make me gag. I don't like romantic stuff. XP
