    Default It's the 29th now, Dexter's birthday, so let's show Dexter some fan love!

    The other thread about Dexter's birthday was weeks early, so here's an on-time one. We all appreciate Dexter's clever lyrics and the diversity of the song subjects, as well as his guitar playing style. He's the reason I started writing songs to cope with my numerous issues in high school, and he and Noodles are why I decided to start playing guitar when I was 15. It became my second biggest passion, next to drawing. The music's gotten me through more than I care to admit. Everyone has their own story about why the band and Dexter's lyrics are so important to them. Here's to many more Dexter birthdays!

    P.P.S I'm loving all these nicknames people are giving me, both here on the forum and on twitter/facebook. "K," MK, Mel K, Assylem, a friend even typo'd MelK, which is hilarious because I don't like plain milk.
