That reminds me of this girl I used to be friends with years ago named Yaritza, and her gym (P.E.) teacher would call her Yahtzee and it would piss her off to no end. Too funny!

That's the best type of drunk to be. I don't know about anyone else, but I like to remember the stupid shit my friends did when they were wasted.

I said, "Hi, Greg. I'm the creepy girl." He chuckled, then wanted a handshake and I gave it. I wanted a hug and he gave it. One of his sons was there, too. Cute. Then Pete got him to autograph my sign for me because I was too polite to ask myself since he was on his way to eat. Pete also took this of photo of him holding it. - 8/2/2014.

This thread has so many January 2 posts. Looks like everyone spent New Year's Day nursing hangovers. :P

Its kind of the norm to get chips (or should I say fries??) in a bag here, from takeaways. But I think we have different kinds of takeaway here than in the US. We have stuff like McDonald's and burger king and those, but then there's chippers, where all the drunk people swarm to, to stuff their face with greasy chips! I've never come across such establishments outside of Ireland and the UK, but I'm not sure.

Oh, wait, we can get them in a bag. In an open container in a bag. :P

What? How is there confusion about this? Fast food fries are pretty much always served in a bag.

You've really never had a bag of fries? That's just weird. I prefer the bags because they're slightly more environmental.

Went to an event/fireworks thing a couple towns over, left after the fireworks (they were at 9) and went into Philly to get drunk. Had 1 drink too many and basically spent the next 12 hours throwing up.

I used eat Micky D's more when I was a kid. I only eat it a few times a year now. So, I just take what they give me, always boxes.

They are both plastic-coated, so I don't think either are very environmental.

A friend actually pulled a nice prank on me for New Year's Eve. The day before, I was called to assist a guy that had been arrested and the cops did a pretty shitty job. They called me four times in 2 days because they had forgotten to ask my guy some questions and the equivalent of the DA needed to know because he had to decide if he wanted to prosecute or not.

What you have to know is that my friend is a clerk for the said DA.

Anyway, the cops called me on the 31st to ask me to come in the afternoon because they needed to ask my client one more question.
I go to the precinct, they ask the question and it's done.

An hour later, around 8 p.m, getting ready for the night, my friend sends me a text telling me that the DA apparently decided to prosecute in a certain way ("Instruction", it's called), and I need to go to the Courthouse to assist him while he meets the Judge. This sort of things can easily take 3 or 4 hours...

So yeah, that was a joke but it could definitely had been true so it was pretty funny

After that, I met the said friend and others, and we had a good time, eating foie gras and nice cheese and playing Time's Up. Because we are cool like that.
