Default BBS Podcast #10 - Dexter and Noodles

The moment you have all been waiting for has come! We are proud to announce that the BBS Podcast is back! In this episode we receive two very special guests, as Carson would describe them "The two and only," Dexter and Noodles from The Offspring.

Find out what the big prank the band played on us was, hear all about the upcoming tour of 2014 called "Going South" which will take place in South Africa and South America with Tupak Shakur, Dexter's upcoming hot sauce Greengo Bandito/Angry Bandito, a special guest appearance from Greg K and you might just get a hint of which Days Go By song they might make a video for next! Oh, and find out the line-up of the upcoming festival the band is preparing in Bakersfield, California called "Dexter's Weekend Of Fun Festival," brought to you by Gringo Bandito.

I'd like to thank The Offspring for all these years of great music, specially Dexter and Noodles for taking some time off to talk to us. Also the management of the band, my friend Sil and my BBS Podcast colleagues and friends Tijs, Adrian, Carson and Marika that went aboard on this mission with me.

I have a notoriously short attention span, so I have only skimmed through it so far. That was a great prank and I could tell Noodles was trying so hard to sound serious but not laugh. That was indeed great!
I said, "Hi, Greg. I'm the creepy girl." He chuckled, then wanted a handshake and I gave it. I wanted a hug and he gave it. One of his sons was there, too. Cute. Then Pete got him to autograph my sign for me because I was too polite to ask myself since he was on his way to eat. Pete also took this of photo of him holding it. - 8/2/2014.

That was really great guys, hahaha. The prank was hilarious, it would have been even funnier if we didn't already know there was a prank. Loved the "I love mac and cheese" part of the parody song.

And a video from Slim Pickens would be amazing. =D

I believe it was Carson. I may be wrong, though. At the time he was saying that I was about to start bashing my face on the computer.

He's always been on my list. I honestly can't think of any mainstream artist that would take some time off to talk to some fans on some very unprofessional, weird and barely functional podcast like Noodles and Dexter did. Not to mention Greg K's big contribution, of course.

I agree! Fiction Reform definitely deservers the removal of clothing of anyone listening to them.

You know what? I say that we all should fly to Bakersfield, California for the cultural aspect of it and also for "Dexter's Weekend Of Fun Festival" so we can have that big BBS Meet with the band that Noodles was talking about. Who's with me? When we're there we could also maybe hang out in Lodi a bit, too.

Wait... Did I just start another campaign already? Damn.

Noodles officially has earned a spot on my list of "awesome famous people I wanna have a beer with". When I first saw how freakin' long that podcast was, I thought there was no WAY I was going to listen to even nearly all of it... but after just a couple minutes, I was laughing too much to turn it off. I wish I hadn't known there was a prank, but it was hilarious anyway! How cool that Noodles and Dexter did this podcast with you guys - you guys are hella dedicated to the Offspring and the BBS, so I'm sure you're elated

I wish they hadn't talked about Pass Me By, though, because now we're REALLY never gonna hear the end of people whining about wanting to hear it :P

Oh, and GREAT music recommendation from Noodles. I haven't really been into punk rock for the last 8 or 9 years, but this is definitely a band I can see myself getting into. Gonna be checking out their new album very soon!
