Default Stephen Fry tried to kill himself last year.

When Im conscious, when Im rational, I realise that being Stephen Fry is a very happy thing to be; people are extraordinarily nice to me. Mostly its great, but there are times when youre on stage or when Im doing QI and laughing [on the outside], but inside Im going I want to fucking die.
this really bums me the fuck out.

That's sad. I know he's mentioned in the past that he's bipolar, so it's not all that surprising, but still sad.

That's weird. I looked him up and he looked happy in the picture I saw.
When they said "sit down", I stood up.

Can I assume that bighead was joking? Can I just go ahead and do that? Aww, why the fuck not. Nice one, bighead.

Stephen Fry is a bit of a hero of mine, as he is to many people, so of course I was very much saddened by this news. However, it made him even more of a hero to me, realizing that he deals with the same kind of crazy shit as me and yet he has managed to do so much with his life and not just hide away in darkened rooms as much as possible. He's inspirational.

I don't always agree with him, but I really look up to him and enjoy his work and the fact that he puts so much effort into helping and teaching others. I've known for a long time that he is manic depressive, but it's still shocking.

I'm not sure if bighead is making a joke or if he is just that ignorant, but when I first read the article my immediate thought was seeing him all joyful and shit on QI. Though, that's depression for you and while I'm not bipolar I can certainly relate to some extent.

Poor man. It would have been sad if he had died. I enjoy many of his television programmes.

This is too bad, I like him. I find his views on free software pretty awesome: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3dcxtEKShXA

I saw his Oscar Wilde film three days ago. It was like he didn't play, but was just himself.

He's always seemed a little condescending in that Richard Dawkins-esque way to me, but it's sad all the same.

Craig Ferguson almost jumped of a bridge too, before one of his friends got him so drunk he forgot about it.

Of course he's condescending. Besides, it's part of his charm.

Yeah, and I generally agree with him on most stuff. He just seems a little dicky.
