    Default Slighty Memorable Movie Quotes

Do you know of any movie quotes that you personally find memorable or funny that are often ignored or simply never stood out to most people very much?

Here's one, and I'd like to see if anyone can guess what it's from.

G- Sorry, I just didn't have the magic tonight.
T- Well you better get the damn magic. And you better get it fast.

This particular quote is from a popular kids/all-ages movie. It is an unusually harsh quote from a generally fun-loving character, so it always caught me off guard and I find it funny.
When they said "sit down", I stood up.

I'll just throw out a few that always stay with me for some reason...

"All I can get" - Paul Newman in Slapshot after being told he sucks dick.

"We could kill everybody" - Rocko in The Boondock Saints.

"You're a fucking inanimate object" - Ralph Fiennes in In Bruges.

"He's not Judge Judy and executioner!" - Nick Frost in Hot Fuzz.

"I'm the bad guy?" - Michael Douglas in Going Down. Uh, I mean Falling Down.

"Please don't shoot at the thermonuclear weapons!" - John Travolta in Broken Arrow.

"Whim of a madman! I like that" - Dennis Hopper in Speed.

Everything in Young Guns one and two.
Today a young man on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we are the imagination of ourselves. Bill Hicks

I think my favorite movie quote is probably "Was I born a cute, vindictive little bitch or did society make me that way?".
I think this will be my new signature actually...

Because I'm already sick and the color scheme must have set me off. Sorry about that.

I always tend to pick up on the more subtle jokes or lines, or appreciate the hell out of them purely for their genius. Of course, now that there's a thread devoted to them, I can't think of a single one.

Nonetheless, one of my favorite throwaway movie lines comes from Home Alone 2, when Kevin is going through New York at night (alone) and sees all these weird and creepy people, so he runs to a taxi. He gets in and says,

    "Boy, it's scary out there."

The cab driver turns and looks at him, revealing his terrifying face, and replies, "ain't much better in here, kid."

I always thought way he delivers the line, without any humor or malice, creates a very poignant moment. It is actually funny, but I love that he has the self-awareness to realize, damn I look fucked up, but oh well...here's my face, kid. May we all learn to be as aware and at peace with ourselves.
