Thread: A Green Day-The Offspring tour would be nice

Default A Green Day-The Offspring tour would be nice

What do you say? The two biggest punk-rock bands. They could co-headline, taking turns at closing. Or have GD close as long each band has the same amount of time for the set.

I would agree about an Offspring and Green Day tour. This makes me remember reading somewhere that fans wanted The Offspring, Green Day, Bad Religion and Rancid to do this tour together called "The Big 4 of 90's Punk" or something.
The founder of The Offspring Wikia, and looking for someone to help out, find out why at this thread.

As long as I get to see The Offspring play, I would not mind.

Nah, not GD - I'd rather see them tour with Pennywise

As for useless threads: There's already so many of them one more doesn't hurt

Why would the Offspring play with a band that sucks??...Greenday?? No thanks. The Offpsring and AFI, now that would be one for the record books.

I agree. I would love to see AFI and Offspring together.

Offspring/AFI played together a bunch in Europe in 2001 and the US & Japan in 97. I saw them during the 2001 London dates and they were both amazing.

Ok, it's the same root of music but these bands have little common... Can you imagine Green Day singing Bad Habit, Have You Ever or Americana? I can't. But I'm able to imagine Pennywise in these songs. The Offspring represents different stylistics, different level of aggression I would say Sometimes i think that the one thing which links them is popularity...
