What have y'all been drinking lately? Fall is a good time for beer.
I had this a bar/restaurant recently with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled around the edges of the glass. It was friggin' pretty good.

When they said "sit down", I stood up.
Were they out of wine coolers?

I don't know about the cinnamon but that does look pretty good.
Personally I don't necessarily care for fall - it's once November hits and the stouts come back out that I have a grand old time. Muskoka brewery makes a double raspberry chocolate stout called Winter Beard every year and it is amazing.
I would have probably made a comment like this a year ago, but I've actually grown more tolerant of fruit and pumpkin flavored beers, as long as it's not totally overbearing and ridiculous like Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy or something.
Bighead, have you had Southern Tier's Pumking? Best pumpkin ale I've had.
My previous signature was getting old. This is my new one.
They have this thing at a bar near mine on sunday nights where all beers and whiskeys are 50% off for part of the night. And they have a huge selection of really decent Belgian beers. Which brings me to the point of this post: Belgian cherry beer:

I just like giving people shit. It actually sounds really nice. And my favourite drink is probably a margarita, so I'm hardly an expert when it comes to either beer or manliness anyway.
Hell yes. Only had it for the first time last year and loved it.

I think I first had it in Czech, but it didn't really impress - there, they only have the kind that's made with a tea bag. Just heat the wine and put in the tea bag of spices. But Slovenia's major wine country, and the whole month of December, the city center is full of stands selling real mulled wine and thus tons of people are out drinking mulled wine and hanging out. Learned it's super easy to make, too. Simmer wine on the stove, add some orange juice, cloves, and a couple cinnamon sticks. I look forward to mulled wine season SO MUCH every year.![]()
I've been enjoying a local homebrew type beer lately. Comes quite close to the real thing.
