Wow, that sure snuck up. I'm still not sure how I feel about the album as a whole. "Hit That" and "Spare Me the Details" were unlike anything The Offspring's done before, but manage to be the strongest tracks on the album (IMHO). The other tracks are all pretty good, and even manage to harken back to The Offspring's heavier side. It only leaves you wanting more, which unfortunately, this album doesn't provide. One thing I had a problem with was how they ended the album. Alright, The Offspring's had silly tracks ending their albums since Ixnay, but those were secret tracks. The last track being a gag song just comes off as a little underwhelming.

What's funny is that when I first saw the track listing, I thought "When You're In Prison" was going to be a real brutal track. Heh.

Yep, I feel like Splinter came out 3-4 years ago, but 10 seems a lot! - God are we getting old? Nooooo!

Happy 10th anniversary to Splinter - I really like this album! Never Gonna Find Me, The Noose, Lightning Rod, Can't Get My (Head Around You), Race Against Myself, Hit That ... It's a nice album with very powerful sound I think!

Love this album. Neocon to The Noose to Long Way Home--one of the best album openings ever. I'm not crazy about Spare Me the Details or Worst Hangover Ever, but everything else is great.
