What Offspring release sounded the best to you?
I'm going to say Thom Wilson's work on Baghdad. While in keeping with the rawness of the first album, the guitar sound is much improved and less "tinny." Meanwhile, the bass is way up there in the mix, much more than any release. At times, it seamlessly blends with the guitar to create a really explosive sound ("Get it Right"), or remains in a powerful low rumble ("Baghdad"). At the same time, Dexter's frantic screams are just loud enough to cut through the musical barrage. Great sound.
