El Bite-olero aka Suarez. Red card seemed to be too much.

    Lucky Greeks.

Suarez can be a good "biter" on "The Walkind Dead" series!

The Greeks lucky???? You probably did not watch the match. They deserved the victory. They lost early two players and had 3 shots on the crossbar. They were better than the disappointing Ivory Coast. The penalty was their reward by God.

Germany and USA both go through. Probably my two favourite teams. Sweet.

That Ghana keeper totally could have caught the ball (or at the very least, batted it over the crossbar) before that Ronaldo goal. Moron. It didn't matter as far as advancement goes, but my god he looked bad on that one.

So, go America? Kind of a boring game against Germany really, but at least we advance. Belgium is one of the few teams I haven't watched thus far, so I'll have to catch them this afternoon to see what little chance we have of beating them.

At the start of the World Cup my friend was randomly assigned Nigeria in his office pool. Oh we laughed. Now they've done better than England, Italy, Spain, Portugal etc. I'm not sure if it's less funny or utterly hilarious.

France in the quarters is a must, I think. That'll have restored some national pride. With the way they've been playing I'd expect them to do well against this Germany side, even maybe be them and make the semis. That being said, it'd be pretty French to lose to Nigeria, and Germany (even with their slightly erratic form in the group stage) have been my pick to take the whole thing, and I haven't changed my mind. No one can match that team when they click and step it up a gear.

Here are my tips, but I'd be most surprised if France or Germany lost.

You think Argentina will crash out to Switzerland and Belgium will lose to the US? That's confidence. The US one I can maybe see but I'd say it's a definite upset if Switzerland go through over Argentina.
