Default Woman stops to help ducklings; kills father and daughter

This story is circulating, and most people seem to be angry that she's "being punished for trying to help baby ducks". That kind of sentiment. It's irritating me because, while I'm an animal lover and don't blame her for wanting to help the ducklings, how she went about it was GROSSLY negligent and stupid as fuck. A lot of reports are selectively leaving out certain information, as well, like that she actually parked her car in the lane, did not turn on her hazard lights, and then left her door open.

Of course she didn't intend to hurt anyone and I do think a life sentence is way too harsh (a few years sounds more reasonable to me), but my god, how can you be that stupid?

They probably waddled away. Waddled waddled and they waddled away.
