    The biggest mindfuck ever. About 4 days ago I was thinking about how cool it would be if the bands that tour together made a split with covers of each other. I always wanted to hear Offspring do a Bad Religion cover. And now this. Holy fuck.

    Wow this is Awesome! I love No Reason Why.

    And about it sounding digitized, I don't think that's it. It's more like he's singing it like a Bad Religion song and that sounds foreign from Dexter.

    Now it's time for Bad Religion and Pennywise to do some Offspring covers.

    Who recorded the drums? Pete or Josh? I wonder if these covers will be put on Itunes. An original audio has better quality than the YouTube audio.

    I hope it was Pete

    Oh well. I'm not complaining, 'cause the guys covering BR is beyond fucking cool. I'm not a huge PW guy, but that's one of their better songs and it's also awesome to hear.
    I'm not sure I don't think Dexter really needs it but I don't know. Also you can hear it on The Future Is Now from Days Go By that song sounds a lot better live in my opinion

    It sounds like Todd Morse doing the backing vocals in No Control. What do you think?

    That's not it. I'm not gonna accuse them of anything untoward, as I'm pretty sure it's just the way it was recorded or something to do with Youtube (master recordings probably sound way better). But it's not to do with covers, they've recorded plenty of those where Dexter still sounds like regular Dexter.

    As for the other bands covering them, not gonna happen with Bad Religion. I could see the Pennywise guys maybe doing an Ignition or Smash thing as a one-off though. Wouldn't be anything from after that. I think the whole choice of old songs by the Offspring guys was probably intentional, from back in the period they were all hanging at Epitaph and all.

    I want to hear Bad Religion cover All I Want; it was written for them, after all.
    Your back's to the wall, that's protocol;
    It's sequestering your spirit, misleading us all.
