All I want to know is when will the new album be coming out!?!
I am so sick of hearing that they're "working on it."

The lines of "yeah we're still working on it" and "yeah we're going to release it this year", that's like "Chinese Democracy". Even though they've played a new song, I'd be surprised if the album does come out this year. However, I've got a feeling it's not going to happen because, not only are they still working on it, but they said a while ago that they don't have a label to put it out.

Why doesn't Dexter put Offspring's albums out on Nitro Records? He owns it.

Fat Mike does the same thing with NOFX and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes on Fat Wreck Chords.

Good question! The last thing I heard about Nitro was their catalog was sold to Bicycle Music yet they recently released vinyl reissues of The Offspring, AFI and The Vandals albums. Also Time Bomb Recordings released the "Summer Nationals" EP and "Coming for You" even though one of the members said in recent interview that they're free agents. My guess is things with Time Bomb didn't work well. Something's confusing here.

Does a label matter anymore these days, really?

I have faith in them, they have most of the songs done. Maybe they need just a couple tweaks here and there and they're good to go

I forgot, which album was 'Chinese Democracy'. Was it Splinter, Rise or Days?

After a short googling, seems it was Splinter.

They need to write a couple songs, mixing, then mastering, new label, lots of things to do.

He sold it in 2013 to Bicylce Music Company. That's why they have been using Time Bomb Recordings as their Imprint since 2014 because it's the manager for the bands label. If Dexter still owned Nitro I'm sure they would have used that
